Ane Brun performs The Treehouse Song live on East Village Radio

Ane Brun shows that she’s not shy of getting a bit country with a rollicking acoustic
version of The Treehouse Song. This is one of three solo performances and a couple
of duets with Tobias Froberg that Ane threw down during her Oct/Nov 2008 U.S. tour.

Recorded and edited by Stuart Rogers with sound by Joseph Hazan.

Two of the finest non-native Stockholm residents that you’re likely to find, Ane Brun
and Tobias Fröberg popped by EVR to play some tunes. They started by playing some
spirited tune fi tune (otherwise known as ‘one for one’s’) for 90 minutes in a set that
heavily favoured their Swedish comrades. They then knuckled down and traded song
for song on their acoustic guitars. You’ve seen the videos, now listen to their unedited
full half hour set.

Ane Brun covers Alphaville’s Big In Japan in Reykjavík

Ane Brun delivers a majestic version of Alphaville’s Big In Japan in Reykjavík. Ane
was in town to play the Iceland Airwaves Festival and had just played an off-venue
show at the Nordic House. This performance was inspired by the rug hanging on the
wall behind her. We still don’t know what it’s made of but Ane reckons it’d be big in
Japan.

Shot and edited by Stuart Rogers with sound recorded by Borgar Magnason and mixed by Ben Allen.
