Lay Low run though the countrified ‘Last Time Around’ on dueling guitars in
the lobby of the Hiro Ballroom. Lovisa and Petur were in town on tour with
Emiliana Torrini. The studio version of the track can be found on Lay Low’s
latest album ‘Farewell Good Night’s Sleep’.

Sin Fang Bous covers Fleetwood Mac's Landslide in his Reykjavik studio. He
picked up the tune while tinkering on the piano at home over the previous
few weeks after the birth of his daughter and reckons that it's probably the
first song he's learned by heart. Not a bad place to start.
Keep a lookout for an upcoming 7" by Sin Fang Bous that will feature covers
of Beautiful Child by Fleetwood Mac (from 'Tusk) and Stevie Nicks' solo tune
Wild Heart. Be sure to check out Sin Fang Bous' first live performance of Catch
The Light from the same session as well as an interview with the Sin man with
the Fangs on all matters Bous.

Sin Fang Bous performs Catch the Light in his Reykjavik studio. This is the first
live performance of the track and our strumming hero tells us that he had to pick
up the song again as he’d forgotten the chords. You can sense his delight at getting
through a full take at the end of the video.
The track’s working title was ‘The Cowboy Song’ as Sindri felt that the drums
sounded like they are out of an old western. Be sure to also check Sin Fang Bous’
cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide from the same session as well as the interview
with the man that is the band.
